Black Pearl, a leading company in the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector in Dubai, UAE, is currently looking for a talented Taxation and Finance Lead to join our team. As the Taxation and Finance Lead, your responsibilities will include developing and implementing tax strategies, overseeing tax returns' preparation and submission, monitoring changes in tax legislation, providing strategic financial insights to senior management, managing financial reporting processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes, leading audits, conducting risk assessments related to tax compliance, training finance team members on best practices, and preparing financial reports for stakeholders.
To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration (a Master’s degree or relevant professional qualification is preferred), at least 7 years of experience in taxation and finance within the F&B industry or similar field. You should possess strong knowledge of local and international tax laws, exceptional analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, proficiency in financial software and tools (especially Excel), strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a finance team effectively. Additionally, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are crucial for success in this role.
