As the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing a small team responsible for preparing accurate management and statutory accounts, ad hoc reports, and overseeing all accounting operations. This includes billing, accounts payable/receivable, bookkeeping, revenue recognition, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. Additionally, you will support yearly budgeting and quarterly reforecasting exercises while monitoring group cash flow to ensure liquidity for operational needs. Your responsibilities will also involve completing tax and VAT returns, regulatory reporting for DFSA and SAMA, leading system/process improvements, and managing external audits for all entities within the group.
The ideal candidate for this position is a fully qualified finance professional (ACA/CPA, ACCA/CMA) with at least 8 years of experience in finance. While Fintech industry experience is advantageous, it is not essential. Strong knowledge across IFRS, management reporting, tax/VAT regulations is required.
