Our company, a leading Food and Beverages Business Unit based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is currently seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our dynamic team. We are committed to providing exceptional services in the F&B and Fitness Center segments. As an integral part of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting to support decision-making processes and overall business strategy.
As the Accountant, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the financial operations of our various branches. This includes preparing detailed Profit & Loss (P&L) accounts branch-wise with a focus on cost analysis for both the F&B and Fitness Center segments. You will collect, verify, and consolidate financial data from different branches while accurately recording revenue, expenses, and other transactions specific to each location. Additionally, you will analyze variances between actual and budgeted figures for each branch to provide valuable insights on cost-saving opportunities.
Your role will also involve tasks such as recording sales transactions accurately in the accounting system, reconciling cash receipts daily, managing purchase invoice bookings with suppliers, processing PRO expenses reimbursements and credit card transactions promptly. Furthermore, you will be responsible for utility bill processing and payment as well as conducting monthly reconciliations of supplier statements to maintain accurate records.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Semi Qualified CA or MBA (Fin.) qualification with 4-7 years of relevant work experience in the UAE. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Word is required along with experience working in an ERP environment.
