Your new role
Managing a small team, you will be responsible for all accounting, reporting and financial planning and analysis activities for ANZ. You will also advise the general manager and commercial leaders on financial, operational and strategic issues, and partner with JAPAC and Corporate functions to implement best practices and leverage the APAC Shared Service Centre.
This includes:
Synthesise and forecast data and turn it into meaningful intelligence and actionable insights for the business
Setting a finance strategy to optimise business processes by assessing business needs and developing, proposing and implementing solutions
Direct tax, reporting, banking, treasury, internal/external audits and compliance activities
Act as liaison to Corporate functions and Business Unit leaders
Partner with JAPAC Controller and FP&A leads on implementation of best practices.
What you'll need to succeed
10+ years progressive experience in leadership and people management positions
Healthcare or regulated industry and/or international experience
Entrepreneurial spirit; thrives in high-energy, fast-paced environments
Excellent knowledge of financial accounting and accounting standards
Experience working in a medium-sized global business
Resourceful independent critical thinker with effective business consultancy skills
