We are seeking a Head of Commercial Finance to join our team. This role is based in the Northern Suburbs of Sydney, Australia. As the Head of Commercial Finance, you will have full P&L ownership and will be responsible for providing valuable commercial insights and driving business growth. This position is akin to a Divisional CFO role and offers high visibility within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial performance of the company's commercial division
- Provide strategic financial guidance and recommendations to senior management
- Develop and implement financial models and forecasts
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential opportunities or risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive profitability and optimize resource allocation
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on financial performance
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
- x years of experience in a similar role within the Human Resources field
- Proven track record in delivering commercial insights and driving business growth
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling software and MS Excel
