Job title: Audit Manager
A reputed audit firm in Bahrain is currently seeking a candidate for the position of Audit Manager.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Lead audit engagements: Manage and supervise all aspects of audit engagements from planning to completion. Must collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective audit execution.
- Risk assessment and audit planning: Conduct thorough risk assessment for each company prior to starting the engagement. Develop comprehensive audit plans that address key risk areas and comply with auditing guidelines.
- Team management and development: Lead and mentor audit teams, providing guidance, feedback and support throughout the audit process. Foster a positive growth environment that encourages professional growth and development.
- Client communication: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders of clients. Communicate audit findings, insights and recommendations clearly and effectively.
- Quality assurance: Ensure all audit engagements adhere to the firm’s quality control standards, best practices, and ethical guidelines. Review and sign off on audit documentation to verify accuracy and compliance.
- Continuous improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of the firm’s methodologies, tools, and processes, proposing innovative ideas to improve audit services.
Requirements:
- Qualified ACCA/CPA
- Thorough with IFRS knowledge and application of relevant professional standards and regulations.
- 5+ years of audit experience in a reputed audit firm
- Must be based in Bahrain
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Arabic is a plus but not mandatory
