Roles & Responsibilities
As an Accountant at Ahmed Sharif Furniture, you will be responsible for independently handling complete accounts. Your role will involve managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will also be involved in tax preparation, audit processes, and company secretarial tasks.
Typical roles and responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and payroll.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
- Coordinate external audits and provide necessary information to auditors.
- Handle company secretarial duties such as maintaining corporate records.
This position requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in manufacturing companies. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA or ACCA certification being preferred. Strong proficiency in accounting software and excellent analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
