We are currently seeking an Engineering Manager - Landscape to lead the reboot of our Landscape systems management solution for Ubuntu. As Ubuntu continues to expand in the enterprise, there is a growing need for a high-quality way to manage large estates of Ubuntu deployments across various platforms. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing a fresh new vision for large-scale Ubuntu estate management by leading a team of engineers and collaborating closely with product managers.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess technical leadership experience and a background in software engineering. As an Engineering Manager at Canonical, you will be responsible for building and leading a team of engineers in your region, developing talent through coaching and mentoring, demonstrating sound engineering principles, setting expectations with stakeholders, and ensuring modern agile software development practices are followed. Additionally, you will be expected to engage with other teams at Canonical, as well as the open-source community and commercial partners.
If you have a passion for mentoring and developing people, along with knowledge and enthusiasm for software development methodologies, then we encourage you to apply.
