We are currently seeking a Director of Engineering to lead our EPD organization, encompassing engineering, product, design, and QA teams as we prepare for substantial growth in the next 12-18 months.
As the Director of Engineering at Alloy Automation, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple product lines and demonstrating adaptability in understanding current capabilities, team structures, skill sets, and resource needs. You will establish key performance indicators for growth, track progress against metrics, and report to senior leadership while making strategic hires and reorganizing teams as necessary to ensure optimal execution. Spearheading initiatives such as on-prem offerings, self-serve apps development, workflow builder overhaul, infrastructure enhancements, and more will be crucial in accelerating our ability to innovate.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the revenue team to align business goals with product roadmaps while ensuring efficient feature releases with minimal bugs. Your focus will be on enhancing engineering productivity by implementing repeatable processes that prioritize speed and quality across all functions. Additionally, you will play a vital role in talent acquisition and management by fostering a high-performing culture through effective leadership practices. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of experience in engineering web applications at scale using technologies like Node.js, React, Typescript, JavaScript while demonstrating exceptional communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
