As the Director of Communications at BHER, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity, expanding our outreach, and connecting with diverse audiences across Canada. Reporting directly to the VP of Corporate Services, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of communications strategy execution. This includes translating BHER's voice and values into compelling messaging, visuals, and tactics that elevate awareness and credibility. You will collaborate closely with the executive team on brand strategy alignment while managing a growing communications team.
Your key responsibilities will encompass various areas such as content development across multiple platforms, maintaining design standards for brand consistency, engaging with media outlets proactively and reactively, fostering stakeholder relationships, supervising team members including providing mentorship for professional growth. Ideal candidates should possess at least 8 years of experience in communications or related fields with a strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling skills across different formats. Proficiency in managing timelines effectively while maintaining quality work output is essential.
