Our healthcare client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Corporate Communications Specialist/Advisor to join their team on a six-month contract basis, with the potential for permanent placement. Insight Global is seeking an individual with over 5 years of experience in corporate communications strategy and planning, particularly within the public sector, healthcare, or non-profit sectors. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive communication plans to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting a thorough assessment of the current communication landscape within the organization, followed by the development of a detailed Communications and Marketing Plan. This individual will further refine specific tactics within the communication strategy, such as creating a comprehensive Social Media Plan and providing training on brand guidelines. Experience in presenting these strategies to internal and external stakeholders is essential for this role.

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess a post-secondary degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related fields. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in corporate communications is required, along with proven expertise in social media strategy and planning across diverse platforms. The ideal candidate should also have experience integrating equity considerations into communications efforts and engaging youth and families in content development.

Additionally, familiarity with mental health services or youth programs would be advantageous. Fluency in French is considered a plus for this role.
