Insight Global, a leading staffing and consulting firm in Canada, is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Communications Specialist/Advisor with over 5 years of experience to join our healthcare client on a six-month contract basis. This position offers the potential for permanent placement following the initial contract period. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate communications strategy and planning, particularly within the public sector, healthcare, or non-profit sectors.

The primary responsibilities of this role include conducting a comprehensive assessment of the current state of communications within the organization, developing a strategic communications and marketing plan, and implementing selected tactics to enhance communication effectiveness. Key tasks will involve creating detailed social media plans, network communications strategies, and training programs based on brand guidelines. The successful candidate will also be responsible for identifying next steps to further improve communication processes.

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess a post-secondary degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field. Additionally, applicants should have at least 5 years of professional experience in corporate communications and demonstrate proven expertise in social media strategy development and audience targeting across multiple platforms. Experience in considering equity and identity in communication efforts, engaging youth and families in product development processes, presenting communication strategies to internal and external stakeholders is essential. Previous work experience within public sector organizations or healthcare/non-profit sectors is preferred along with knowledge of mental health and/or youth services.
