The International Youth Federation (IYF) is a global non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth worldwide. As a neutral and non-denominational entity, our mission is to provide support services that enable our Senior Management Team to effectively lead our various activities across HQ Bureaux and Regional Administrations. The IYF Executive Office (ExO) plays a crucial role in ensuring policy and programmatic support for all IYF initiatives.

As an integral part of the Executive Office, the Office of the IYF Secretary-General (OSG) focuses on inspiring and cultivating innovative leaders for the future. We are currently seeking a Senior Communications Manager to join our team under the guidance of the OSG Deputy Director. In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex material into clear, accessible language that accurately represents the vision of the IYF to targeted audiences. Your primary tasks will include researching, writing, and editing speeches, video messages, editorials, and other materials that position the Secretary-General and the IYF as trusted voices in youth development globally.

Key responsibilities for this position include leading communication strategy planning and production of various materials such as speeches, articles, op-eds, and more. You will develop and implement communication plans aligned with our Global Strategy to maximize media coverage of IYF activities. Additionally, you will collaborate with senior staff to ensure policy coherence and accuracy in all communications products. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in communications, journalism, international development, or related fields at a national level.
