We are currently seeking a Director of Engineering for Foundational Services to lead multiple engineering teams responsible for delivering centralized services essential to our suite of products.
As the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for managing managers accountable for the delivery of engineering objectives across various teams. Your role will involve overseeing ERP Integrations/Connectors, Financial Systems Integrations (banking and card partners), Login and authentication services, as well as services shared by our SaaS applications. You will be tasked with developing, leading, coaching, and assessing the engineering team while ensuring alignment with strategic technology vision. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional peers and leaders to establish project priorities and ensure successful project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of software development experience along with 5 years in a leadership role within the industry. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. You should possess expertise in modern programming languages such as Java, Python, NodeJS, and/or .NET. Experience working in a scrum and DevOps environment is essential, as well as familiarity with setting engineering metrics and developing engineering strategies. Additionally, knowledge of Banking or Financial APIs in a B2B SaaS environment would be advantageous.
