Director, Back-end Engineering - Product Engineering

As the Director of Back-end Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in building an efficient cross-regional organization to enhance Discovery and SDP experiences for our customers. You will ensure stability in pre-purchase services while collaborating with stakeholders and leading engineers on critical projects to solve complex business problems. Drawing roadmaps for scalable growth of the merchant platform and driving high-quality architecture design for pre-purchase systems will be key responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, exceptional communication skills in English, and at least 8+ years of software design & development experience on distributed systems. You should also have at least 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams handling large volumes of data.
