The resorts and hotels are distributed from Canary Islands, Morocco, Malta, Italy, Croatia, Greece, Turkey, and Egypt.
Job Purpose
To manage the commercial aspect of the Hotels & Resorts and work with all local and global teams to achieve revenue budgets.
Be a brand ambassador to all MP hotel and strengthen the markets knowledge and emotional connection to the brands to ensure solid growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and establish an efficient sales department in Egypt.
Revisit existing strategies per hotel to identify opportunities for business / nationality mix optimization.
Identify in collaboration with leadership team in Egypt, potential new developments in key cities in Egypt.
Build a strong collaboration with the revenue and reservations team to maintain optimal RevPAR per property with occupancies in excess of 95% to capitalize on down stream revenues
Establish a proper sales planning and reporting system that ensures maximum productivity of self and team, optimal face time with customers and streamed communication with peers, revenue , hotels and regional team
Conduct weekly / monthly sales and revenue meetings with hotels team and revenue / reservation team.
Create an accelerated social media strategy to ensure all hotels have on hand and solid online base.
Recruit and Manage highly qualified sales Team.
Set individual goals for all team member per segment per market per hotel and assist team to monitor progress and achieve set goals and revenue budget.
Build a solid culture of RevPAR optimization and ensure MP Hotels in Egypt archive market leadership
Attended fairs, workshops, conferences exhibitions, and show cases to represent MP hotels Egypt and cross-sell sister properties and destinations
Yearly preparation of hotel budgets and revenue planning
Regular SWOT analysis exercises to identify opportunities in the market for each hotel
Give recommendation to the hotel operation to ensure guest satisfaction
Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize revenue and expand customer base
Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business / action plans on commercial opportunities (source markets expansion, business development, etc.)
Achieve or exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met
Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing)
Contribute by bringing his or her own portfolio of customers.
Monitor the performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
Assist in setting financial targets, budget development, and monitoring.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
Negotiate and close agreements with customers.

Knowledge & Experience
Bachelor degree in Tourism or similar field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a five-star international hotel chain and 2 years in the same position.
