As the Project Director - Construction, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating all aspects of the construction process, working closely with internal departments within AKS and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include managing architects and consultants during pre-construction phases, developing procurement routes, ensuring quality supply chain management, and overseeing construction activities to meet budgetary, safety, quality, and timing requirements.

Key duties encompass recruiting, developing, managing, and leading project-specific construction teams; delivering projects within agreed cost budgets; conducting regular briefings with management; overseeing planning and design phases; managing relationships with contractors and vendors; ensuring compliance with regulations; preparing budgets; reporting progress to senior management; coordinating economic fallout activities; liaising with government agencies and funding organizations; among other crucial tasks.

To qualify for this role based in Hyderabad, India, candidates must hold a degree at the graduate or master's level in Project Management, architecture, engineering, construction management or business administration. A minimum of 10 years' experience in project management within a construction setting is required. Proficiency in managing multi-works package projects utilizing local/international supply chains is essential. Strong communication skills, knowledge of contract documents/specifications/project management practices are also necessary.
