Arpan, a leading organization in India dedicated to child protection and advocacy, is seeking an Associate Director for Research, Monitoring & Evaluation. This pivotal role involves establishing and implementing robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks, ensuring evidence-based decision-making across programs, and leading the research agenda to inform Arpan's strategy and support Policy Advocacy.

As the Associate Director, you will design and implement organization-wide M&E frameworks to track program performance and impact. You will develop data collection tools and systems for accurate data gathering, train teams in M&E processes, and generate regular monitoring reports to assess program efficiency and scalability. Additionally, you will provide strategic direction to the RME team, bridge the gap between research findings and practical implementation, represent Arpan at national and international forums, manage budgets/resources/partnerships related to research initiatives, all while aligning diverse stakeholder needs.

The ideal candidate holds a post-graduate degree in Social Sciences or related fields with 12-15 years of total experience (5 years in leadership) in program monitoring within the development sector focusing on child protection. Proficiency in data analysis tools, strong communication skills for presenting complex data effectively, proven expertise in both quantitative/qualitative research methodologies, project management abilities are essential.
