Understanding of machine designs and their working, assembly of components and sub-assemblies. Assembly of machines as per drawings, tolerances, welding standards, quality instruments, knowledge of sheet metals. Assy. Drawing reading skill should be very good. Estimation of the process to manufacture a component. Estimation of time and process for sub-assy of components. Knowledge of welding standards for M.S. and S.S. sheet metals fabrication. Knowledge of fits and tolerances. Hands-on experience using quality instruments.
