**Job Description: PR and Communications Director (Voluntary)**

As the PR and Communications Director at Cork Nature Network, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing press releases, communication strategies, media relations, and public relations activities. This remote volunteer position requires a minimum commitment of three hours per week and demands a deep understanding of Irish media and communications systems. Your main goal will be to promote our wildlife conservation efforts and raise awareness of our organization's mission among the public.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement an operational plan for the communications team.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director to align promotional activities aimed at increasing membership.
- Drive membership growth by enhancing membership packages and promotional campaigns.
- Supervise volunteers within the Communications team to ensure effective external communications.
- Cultivate relationships with external stakeholders to enhance partnerships.
- Prepare annual summary reports detailing team activities and outcomes.

**Education & Experience:**
The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, proven experience in team management, as well as professional qualifications or work experience in Public Relations, Communications, or related fields.
