As the Head of Data Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the client's data systems and controls. We are looking for a hands-on data expert who possesses a deep understanding of data operations in real-world scenarios, ranging from integrations to governance. In this role, you will lead a dynamic data team and collaborate closely with technical leadership to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and structure. Your duties will include expanding the data schema, designing new integrations, and establishing streamlined processes to automate recurring issues effectively.

The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in similar roles with practical expertise in data operations or engineering. Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, cloud platforms like Snowflake or BigQuery, as well as strong communication skills are essential requirements for this position. Additionally, experience managing technical teams and familiarity with tools such as dbt or Airflow would be advantageous. Candidates with exposure to retail or Food & Beverage sectors, accounting domains, or AI & ML tools will be given preference.

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong practical experience in data operations, data engineering, or similar hands-on data roles
• Experience managing or mentoring technical/data teams
• Strong command of SQL and hands-on experience with relational databases and cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
• Familiarity with data modelling, schema design, and data validation practices
• Experience with cloud storage and infrastructure (e.g. AWS S3, GCP)
