We are currently seeking a dynamic Director of Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning to spearhead the implementation of an impact strategy aimed at enhancing the effectiveness, scalability, and sustainability of our initiatives through data-driven monitoring and evaluation efforts. In this role, you will serve as both an individual contributor and team leader responsible for establishing systems and processes that render our data more reliable, accessible, and actionable with a focus on achieving ultimate impact. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to seamlessly transition between strategic planning discussions and tactical project management details while embracing collaboration with diverse stakeholders to ensure accurate data collection and insights. Effective communication skills are paramount as this position requires translating complex numerical information into understandable terms for informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Leadership by Example
- Develop an impact strategy aligned with Kidogo's mission.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on leveraging data insights.
- Ensure systematic tracking of program inputs/outputs across all operational levels.
- Manage M&E team professional growth for goal achievement.

2) Scalable MEL Systems & Processes
- Enhance quality assurance alignment between collected data and key use-cases.
- Design research projects for continuous improvement.
- Ensure data tool interoperability with operational dashboards.
- Streamline performance metric measurements across program areas.

3) Stakeholder Engagement
- Cultivate relationships with donors, partners, academic institutions.
- Ensure compliance with donor reporting standards.
- Support external evaluation/research collaborations.

Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Education/Public Policy/Economics/Data Science or related field.
- 6-10 years relevant experience in impact measurement within non-profit/social enterprise sector.
- Proficiency in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies.
- Strong communication skills for simplifying complex concepts/data presentation.
- Track record of team-building/management excellence.
