Job summary:
Grow sales revenues and profits to gain new strategic opportunities and meet sales targets within an assigned geographic area. Accountable for achieving a revenue quota by seeking out new customers and maintaining productive working relationships with existing customers.
Accountable for maintaining and expanding profitable business with large and/or complex accounts often consisting of multiple products and services.
Core functions:
Ensure meeting or exceeding financial targets for sales, profit margin, and operating profit.
Develop SMART sales and marketing objectives/strategies.
Maintain and increase the existing revenue stream.
Maintain strong relationships with key customers through documented account plans.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the region.
Ensure collection and transfer of money to accounts on time.
Manage the importation, clearing, delivery, and safe return activities.
Agree on better terms of payment with service providers.
Secure long-term Product Service Agreements (PSA).
Resolve customer concerns in a timely manner.
Maintain a close relationship with other regions & Business Units.
Manage people in accordance with GC Leadership Strategy
Provide guidance to team members on how to provide service consistent with Customer Based Behaviors.
Remove barriers that may cause roadblocks for team members to achieve their goals.
Prepare department budget and ensure definite sales revenue is achieved in line with GC guidelines.
Key decision-maker for pricing, contracts, DSO, and customer disputes.
Enhance customer relationships to retain existing customers and develop strategies to gain new customers.
Monitor Sales Force Effectiveness through CRM, customer satisfaction, leads prospects, and Sales performance.
Study the market to improve market share and know the company’s competitiveness, market trends, customer requirements, and feasibility of opening a new market to introduce new products and services.
Initiate continual improvement programs by periodic monitoring and review of relevant data and applicable policies and procedures.
Plan and provide development training to Sales staff.
Conduct regular coaching and counseling with Sales team to build motivation and selling skills.
Enhance internal communication and interaction between Sales and other company processes in the production, delivery, and post-delivery activities and care of customer property to ensure customer satisfaction.
Job requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; engineering preferred; mechanical is highly required.
At least 7 - 10 years of experience in a similar role.
Preferred English and Arabic speaking.
Skills:
Strategic Planning capabilities.
Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive management.
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
Proven ability to articulate the diverse aspects of products and services.
Proven ability to position products against competitors.
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
High level computer literacy with specific requirements for Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Oracle and CRM, e-tracking experience is a plus.
