Restaurant Manager

Detailed job description: The Restaurant Manager at Marriott International in Kuwait is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations including Restaurants/Bars and Room Service. This role involves supervising employees, maintaining sanitation standards, assisting with menu planning, ensuring guest satisfaction, maximizing financial performance, and implementing training programs. The Restaurant Manager leads the food and beverage team by providing guidance, setting goals, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and fostering a positive work environment. Additionally, this role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service by exceeding guest expectations, handling guest feedback effectively, managing human resource activities such as training and development of staff, analyzing operational data for decision-making purposes, overseeing financial aspects of the department like purchasing and invoice payment. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality management with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.

• - Minimum of 3 years experience in restaurant management
• - Strong leadership and communication skills
• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in food and beverage industry, culinary, or related field.

• 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years of experience in the food and beverage industry.
