The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.


Responsibilities

Develop financial and business strategies, budgeting and tax planning to enhance business performance and identifying and resolving potential financial, accounting and taxation problems across the different location of business operation.
Monitoring financial and management reports (which include Cash flow reports) and ensure timeliness, completeness, accuracy and reliability.
Monitor financial and cash flow forecast/budget of the respective regional offices and attend to audit, taxation issues and business risk management arising thereof, measures and analyze results and initiate corrective action
Regular review and introduce effective controls on Cash management in each of the companies in different regions, thus improving cash flow and tightening up on credit control.
Regular review of the existing internal and accounting controls systems to ensure compliance with the group Standard Operating Procedures.
Maintain and ensure compliance of the financial management systems (procedures, policies and guidelines) by the regional offices in accordance with Group's Policies and Procedures in order to obtain reliable and timely information
Drives improvement in term of system and processes across the Group companies.
Manage and oversee Jakarta office in respect of statutory audit, tax and other financial management functions.
Assist in the full SAP rollout programme
Play a full and active role within the Group’s senior management team including the Board of Directors.
Fully lead and motivate the management and staff in Finance, treasury and tax division of the Group
Engage and co-ordinate with external auditors on audit programme and timetable for the year end statutory audit
Develop contact programmes on relationship buildings with relevant stakeholders in the financial institutions and other business entities




Qualifications

University degree in accounting or professional accounting certificate equivalent.
At least 15-20 years of working experiences in Accounting/Finance roles and preferably in similar capacity. Past working experiences with an international accounting firm will be an added advantage.
Strong financial management/accounting skills are essential
