We are looking for a Regional Finance Manager to implement, monitor and enhance the Group trading entities account, financial reporting, external and internal control. He/ She will manage, direct and guide the respective finance manager and team members to support the daily finance, operations related matters, and also responsible for Group Transfer Pricing Documentation.
Report directly to the CFO and oversight the corporate governance, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Accounting & Tax and Transfer Pricing Compliance
Responsible on the group trading entities monthly management accounts closing on time and profit and loss detailed review variance analysis.
Work with tax consultant and respective region finance manager, and ensure the Group transfer pricing documentation completed on time and compliance with the Group strategic direction.
Manage the monthly group consolidation, management reporting and group financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function and ensuring that the deadlines are met to fulfil SGX reporting/ announcement requirement, AGM, Annual Report.
Manage and monitor of the Group’s financial, management and statutory reporting including implementing and reviewing various accounting systems and internal control procedures.
Manage the monthly accounting reporting, detailed costs variance analysis and manage day-to-day operations support functions of overseas trading entities.
Co-ordinate with all other head of department in implementing the full utilisation of the ERP to enhance internal controls and provide more timely and accurate reporting of key financial and operational data.
Analyse and co-ordinate with all other departments in developing, implementing the costs saving initiative.
Review and manage all internal and external reporting such as export statistics, investment statistic (such as monthly VAT submission).
Liaise with bankers, tax agents, company secretary and other government bodies for all statutory compliances.
Liaise with internal & external auditors for annual Group financial audit.
Collaborate with other finance team members in problem solving as and when required.
Budget & Projections
Co-ordinate, direct and supervise the respective region finance manager, for the monthly account closing, and the review of quarterly budget & projections for the board meeting.
Co-ordinate with other HODs and align the Group’s annual budget
Engage with internal stakeholders and presenting monthly profit and loss, budget vs actual analysis
Other Corporate matters
Working closely with Sustainability Department and ensure ESG, sustainability reporting are updated on time and compliance with SGX requirement.
Support CEO/CFO on the corporate/merger proposal, ROI computation, other investment property, IRR returns
Work with CFO on corporate governance, and ensuring Group’s compliance with laws and regulations.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and above, ACCA, CPA or other professional qualification, preferably in Foods Manufacturing or Commodities industry.
Minimum of 3 years of managerial level experience and above 5 years related working experiences
Strong leadership skills and able to manage cross-department, and interact across geographies and organizational level
Very strong interpersonal skills & problem-solving skills
Self-motivated and able to cultivate positive working cultures
Familiar and hands-on with SAP S4Hana will be added advantages
Multilingual: English is an Essential. Additional language is added advantages.
