We are currently seeking a Director of Programs for our Mid-Atlantic Region who will be responsible for managing program implementation, partnership development, monitoring program quality assurance, and regional expansion. The ideal candidate will lead a regional programmatic team to implement community-based civics curriculum and additional offerings within the region. Reporting directly to the Mid-Atlantic Executive Director, the Program Director will work closely with the National Program Team and other team members across the organization.
Key responsibilities include sales & partnership development, program management & quality improvement, program strategy development, development efforts to ensure financial sustainability of programs through philanthropic support in addition to Fee for Service contracts. The successful candidate should have 5+ years of nonprofit or education experience with 3+ years of partnership recruitment experience and be able to manage diverse teams effectively while navigating ambiguity. This position requires regular travel within the Mid-Atlantic region but primarily works remotely.
