Internal Audit Manager

Our client, a prominent Facilities Management Service Provider based in Muscat, Oman, is dedicated to delivering exceptional services to its clients. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on innovation, our client is seeking a diligent Internal Audit Manager to join their dynamic team.

As the Internal Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in the planning, scoping, execution, documentation, and reporting of audit reviews as per the risk-based annual internal audit plan approved by the Audit Committee. You will proactively identify significant risks or exposures related to internal controls, compliance, and governance that require immediate attention. Additionally, you will lead audit teams on multiple or large audits as directed, leveraging your business process knowledge and subject matter expertise to identify business risks and controls effectively.

To excel in this role, you must have 8-10 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years at a senior or managerial level. A Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification recognized in Oman is essential. Additional certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), or an MBA would be advantageous. Your proven knowledge and application of core audit skills, analytical abilities, internal audit methodology, risk assessment techniques, and quality assurance practices will set you up for success.

The ideal candidate should be prepared for travel requirements of up to 60% within Oman and the UAE or other locations as needed.
