Our client, a leading company in Oman's financial sector, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Planning & Analyst (FP&A) to join their dynamic team in Muscat. As the Financial Planning & Analyst (FP&A), you will play a pivotal role in generating timely MIS reports, managing tasks within the Central Finance team for efficient closing processes, and analyzing MIS reports to facilitate management decisions. You will work closely with various clusters and embedded finance teams to produce forecasts, coordinate group budgeting exercises, and drive maximum digitization within the function. Your responsibilities will include developing data management policies and procedures, collaborating with departments to understand their needs, monitoring MIS performance for enhancements, training end-users on effective MIS utilization, staying updated on industry trends for innovation opportunities, managing system integrations with IT teams and vendors, preparing reports derived from MIS data for strategic decision-making support.
The ideal candidate should be a Commerce graduate with CA/ACCA qualifications and a Post Graduate in Management accounting with at least 7 years of diversified business experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis tools is essential along with operating ERP systems as an MIS user. Exposure to trading or automotive business environments is preferred along with excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, written/oral communication skills, teamwork spirit, motivation skills for staff handling/training.
