Job Summary
The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for providing leadership in driving business results in activities within the hotel, working closely with the Rooms, Food and Beverage, and other revenue-generating departments to maximize sales through the activities of the Sales Department and other employees. Position the hotel in the local marketplace through appropriate sales and marketing initiatives and ensure the hotel's product and services align with the positioning and brand promise created through marketing communications.

Develop and execute the sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
Manage and cultivate relationships with key clients, travel agencies, and corporate partners.
Draws up the Marketing Plan annually together with the General Manager of the hotel.
Function as a Strategic business leader of the Property’s Sales and Marketing and develop Sales goals and strategies and ensure alignment with brand business strategy.
Manage market segment from a point of maximizing business generation opportunities.
Work closely with the Revenue Optimisation Team to drive business and maximize competitor intelligence.
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes.
Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales and marketing team to achieve excellence.
Determine and develop Marketing Communication activities, in conjunction with Regional Marketing Communications.
Manage Marketing Consulting Agency teams, Brand Marketing, and Campaign Management initiatives.
Utilize digital marketing channels, social media, and public relations to drive brand awareness.
Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
Plan and coordinate events, promotional activities, and partnerships to enhance the resort's visibility.
Make various presentations, and reports for the General Manager, Owners etc as required.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Director of Sales & Marketing within the luxury hospitality industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a high-performing team.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
