As the Operations Manager at Calo Inc., you will play a crucial role in establishing and overseeing the operations of our first kitchen in Oman. Your responsibilities will include sourcing an appropriate kitchen facility, overseeing the design and fit-out process, recruiting and training local staff, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and coordinating pre-launch testing activities. You will be responsible for developing operational processes, monitoring food safety standards, managing inventory, and ensuring timely meal preparation and delivery.
In addition to operational tasks, you will also be involved in maintaining quality control by upholding Calo's standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service. You will work on budgeting and cost management by assisting in developing budgets, monitoring costs, allocating resources efficiently, and identifying areas for cost savings without compromising quality. Reporting on key performance metrics and collaborating with the management team to identify opportunities for improvement will also be part of your responsibilities.
