A international Search firm is looking to appoint a Director of Sales and Marketing for a International Luxury property in Oman.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation of the Sales & Marketing department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. Drive the right business at the right price to ensure the resort achieves budgeted occupancy, rate, and revenue.
The Role:
Write and implement the marketing plan, contracting, setting sales targets by segment and by client and prospect, undertaking advertising, sales, promotions, and publicity initiatives.
Direct the Sales & Marketing team and working alongside the Revenue Manager for setting rates.
Constantly assess marketing strategies and tactics to remain relevant and effective.
Establish and deliver pre-established financial returns related to revenue generation, profitability and ROIC.
Operate the property consistent with all legal, statutory, and financial requirements and documentation.
Manage reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, communications, product, and service standards.
Host management practices and budgetary controls are implemented, reviewed, and maintained.
Requirements:
Ability to travel to Europe and USA freely, without requiring a visa.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the same role within luxury, remote resorts internationally, and experience in UAE.
Someone creative, who has strong relationships & connections in the marketplace.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Is up to date with to date with the latest industry trends.
Must be computer literate with excellent presentation skills, and fluent, written, and oral, in English.
