Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Oman
Salary Offered: 1800 RO + Family Benefits
Job Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for finance functions including managing treasury, vendor payments, taxation, and credit and collection functions of the group.
Managing the credit and collections team and providing them with leadership, guidance, and support.
Effective relationship management with existing banks and developing relationships with new banks to ensure the availability of sufficient credit lines at competitive pricing.
Daily monitoring of cash position and making available sufficient working capital for business operations.
Ensure that all statutory obligations related to the filing of all tax and VAT returns and assessments are carried out effective.
Manage and monitor payments to import vendors.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualification – Chartered Accountant
Work experience – relevant experience with good and reputable organizations in a managerial capacity. Oman experience will be an added advantage.
IT skills required for the job. Knowledge of SAP is necessary.
Candidates must have a strong understanding of financial concepts, including accounting, financial analysis and credit risk analysis.
Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with banks, authorities, customers, colleagues, and senior management. They must be able to negotiate terms, resolve disputes, and provide regular MIS reports.
