Financial Controller

Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to oversees a business's day-to-day financial operations and undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget, and forecasts preparation, to as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Finance Controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management.

Responsibilities:

Handles full spectrum of financial reporting and supervisory roles e.g. cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed and intangible asset, general ledger, bank reconciliation, account analysis, cost saving measures, transaction reviews and approval.
Monitoring and balancing cash flows into and out of a business to meet obligations and optimize investment.
Prepares operations and capital expenditure budgets and monthly variances reports.
Liaises with external auditors and tax inspectors to ensure annual financial audits and tax returns at individual and group levels are properly performed and submitted to internal and external stakeholders.
Ensures timely delivery of the Group consolidated financial statements.
Adhering to Management Information System reports and International Financial Reporting Standards
Identifying efficiencies and opportunities for cost reductions across the business.
managing banking relationships.
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial reporting with supporting schedules.
Deliver month-end and year-end close process.
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
Manage and comply with local, state, and government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Develop and document company financials manual and/or accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Developing financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting.
Sustain the healthy liquidity rations to maintenance the operation cycle Communicate to the management liquidity level and set up effective cash management process. Advising company managers on operations activities based on knowledge of the underlying business.
Additional controller duties as necessary

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
Bachelor’s degree at finance and/or Accounting
ACCA CPA or CMA or equivalent degree preferred.
High knowledge of accounting standards
Experience with preparation of financial statements.
Experience with managing team and high level of communication
Excellent understanding for ERP and accounting software
Solid understanding for financial and accounting consolidation concept.
Detailed-oriented person.
