Financial Controller

Our company, a leading player in the hospitality industry based in Qatar, is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. As a Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the internal audit function across all group entities while also coordinating financial reporting, management reporting, and financial audits for our hotel entities. The ideal candidate will hold professional qualifications such as ACA, CA, or ACCA, have a background in a Big 4 firm, and possess at least 5 years of post-qualification experience. Experience in the hospitality industry would be highly advantageous for this role.

As the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will include leading and managing the internal audit team for the entire group to ensure financial controls, compliance, and operational efficiency are maintained and improved across all entities. You will oversee the financial operations of our group's hotel entities by working closely with hotel finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive management reports for the hotel entities, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership for informed decision-making. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and overseeing financial audits of the hotel entities will also be part of your role.

To excel in this position, you must possess strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, and financial analysis. Proven leadership skills are essential as you will be managing a finance or audit team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
