Role Description

This is a Full-time on-site role for the Head of Finance position at Al Balagh Group. The Head of Finance in this role will lead the financial function of the organization and be responsible for financial planning and management, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. They will provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, advise on investment opportunities and capital allocation, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. The role is located in Doha, Qatar.


Qualifications

Chartered Accountant or equivalent
Minimum 20 years of work experience in Finance, Accounting or a related field
Experience managing a team of finance professionals
Excellent knowledge of financial planning, accounting principles and practices, budgeting, and financial analysis
Demonstrated experience in compliance, financial regulations and standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
Experience with ERP systems and financial software applications such as SAP, Oracle, and Quickbooks
Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA is preferred
Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in the Construction / Oil & Gas industry is preferred
