Our client, a leading company in the energy sector in Qatar, is seeking a highly skilled Lead of Electrical Engineering to join their dynamic team. As the Lead of Electrical Engineering, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical aspects of our projects and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading electrical engineering design activities and planning processes to guarantee that detailed designs meet local regulatory requirements, industry standards, project specifications, and approved variations. You will resolve any electrical discipline issues that may arise during the project lifecycle to ensure alignment with the project's expectations and objectives. Additionally, you will review technical aspects of electrical equipment purchase orders with contractors and vendors to facilitate the safe integration of new equipment into existing facilities.
As the Lead of Electrical Engineering, you will also be involved in monitoring project schedules, providing guidance to contractors on key deliverables, and recommending additional technical support when necessary. Your role will include coordinating discipline issues for resolution and providing input to other engineering disciplines as needed. Furthermore, you will support commissioning activities and contribute to safety analysis studies to ensure compliance with best practices.
