Sub-Business Unit Overview: Management Consulting

Role Overview
Owns deliverables/areas of an Engagement/Project with some input delivering quality outputs, and
helping review the work of less experienced members of the Engagement/Project team. Contributes to the planning and delivery of engagements including work plans, timelines, project management and resource allocation.
Primary Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Collaborate closely with Engagement managers, department heads, and senior leadership to understand project requirements, timelines, and resource needs.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the skills, capabilities, and availability of consulting staff.
Develop and implement resource allocation strategies to optimize staff utilization and ensure project deadlines are met.
Proactively identify potential resource constraints or conflicts and propose solutions to mitigate risks.
Track and manage consultant assignments, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated based on project priorities and client needs.
Perform analysis and consult on capacity utilization, availability etc.
Preparation of Dashboard, MI Packs (Demand/Supply, Over/Under Allocations, Over/Under Utilization, Headcount Reports, Actuals vs. Forecast Trends), Weekly, MTD, YTD Forecast Views.
Serve as a primary point of contact for consultants regarding assignment scheduling, workload management, and reassignment on opportunities.
Well versed with Financial/Budgeting and Performance Management systems and Processes.
Monitor project progress and staffing requirements, making adjustments to resource allocations as necessary to support changing project dynamics.
Facilitate regular meetings with project teams and stakeholders to discuss resource allocation, workload distribution, and project staffing needs.
Provide guidance and support to project managers and team leads on resource management best practices and methodologies.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of resource management processes, tools, and systems.
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in resource & Financial management, workforce planning, or consulting operations.
Proven track record of effectively managing resources in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in resource & financial management software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience working in a consulting firm or professional services environment is preferred.
