Director of Engineering

As the Director of Engineering at BLR Aerospace, you will be responsible for leading strategic engineering efforts and managing the engineering team to ensure successful product development. You will work closely with our team to obtain airworthiness approvals and maintain quality standards for all products. In this role, you will oversee all technical aspects of projects, including design, stress analysis, aerodynamics, and more. Additionally, you will be involved in hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating engineering staff while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a 4-year technical degree along with 12+ years of technical experience in aerospace, including 5+ years of engineering management experience. You should possess strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to interact effectively with executives, colleagues, customers, and partners. A background in aircraft Stress, Fatigue or Damage Tolerance analysis is highly preferred.
