Job Description
• Oversee the strategic planning and delivery of all partnerships and business development efforts within the company, in line with its business requirements, and across various dimensions such as:
o Development planning
o Design and construction
o Asset operations
o Community Development and Integration
o Governmental bodies
• Lead the consultative sales & concept development processes (i.e., master plans and strategy development, service and experience design, solution architecture, work package development, partner selection)
• Own customer and partner relationships end-end across account / lead management, scope definition, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee delivery of Build and Operate services by 3rd party partners/ delivery JVs to assure design integrity, quality, synergies, and standardisation given customizable and early-stage nature of the company operation.
• Ensure alignment with corporate vision, mission and strategy.
• Oversee the development of mechanism for prospective partner and investor profiling, check analysis, and selection guidelines.
• Oversee the development of partnership and investor attraction strategies globally.
• Ensure high coordination between own team and the Financial Planning and Management Department to develop business cases and assess financial viability for decision-making.
• Provide expertise and guidance in developing key partnerships, negotiations and deals closure.
• Oversee identification and assessment of business development opportunities, new opportunities for growth, expansion, and diversification, as well as differentiated services and offerings.
• Oversee department expenditures, budgeting process, tracking, and reporting.
• Oversee required contract development and negotiations for service providers/contractors in own area.
• Ensure effective reporting to the VP and represent the department in internal and external meetings.
• Oversee bid management including contracting and pricing after inputs from Business Units
The Successful Applicant
• 18+ years of experience in managing commercial and revenue functions, strategy and development, account management.
• Experience developing business within upstream and downstream operations.
• Deep understanding across Silicon and metals (customer success, advisory, design, build and operate) is required.
• Expertise in consultative sales (incl. solutioning, product advisory, work package development)
• Expertise in major hub of consumption globally.
• Careers in large complex organizations with entrepreneurial start-up experience is a plus.
• Experience managing a diverse group of stakeholders and customers at board level.
• Experience in the MENA region with additional preferences for the GCC
• Proven soft skills in leadership, management, creative and innovative thinking, problem-solving, relationship-building and influencing, commercial thinking, and teamwork.
• Comfortable in an ambiguous fast-paced organization
• Intellectually curious and committed to continuous learning.
• Culturally astute and self-aware
• Practical strategist: Can take a strategy and execute against it while course correcting along the way.
• Executive presence: Proven experience in working at the main board level both with partners, customers, and internal team members.
• Communications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with extensive experience presenting to large and small groups
• Leadership: Proven experience in leading cross cultural/ cross functional teams, and able to motivate and drive them to peak performance
