As a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager with us, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial reporting process. Working closely with the asset management function and financial reporting team, you will oversee the collection, analysis, documentation, and reporting of accounting and financial data. Your responsibilities will include compiling comprehensive reports for financial statements, quarterly reports, budgets, and monthly financial/administrative reports to support decision-making processes for senior management and regulators.
To excel in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field. A Master's degree or certifications such as CPA or CFA would be advantageous. With a minimum of 8+ years of experience in a managerial role within financial planning and analysis, you should possess strong expertise in documenting accounts records, book reconciliations, and advising on financial performance against set budgets.
Your duties will also involve managing document management systems for adequate preparation of accounts for audits while ensuring compliance with IFRS, SOCPA, and USALI standards. You will establish controls in document processing and storage management to facilitate timely retrieval of information as needed by various stakeholders. Additionally, you will identify key financial metrics for shareholders, board members, committees, regulators while defining mechanisms for calculating and reporting these metrics accurately.
