Job Context: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & Board Member will play a critical role in the financial management and strategic direction of the company. This role involves overseeing all financial aspects of the company, ensuring the company's financial health, and contributing to the strategic planning and decision-making processes as a board member. Key responsibilities in this role include: Key Accountabilities Develop and implement the financial strategy of the company to ensure its financial health and sustainability. Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts for the executive management team and the board of directors. Lead the budgeting process, including the preparation, review, and monitoring of budgets across all departments. Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring proper controls are in place to safeguard the company's assets. Oversee the company’s funding requirements, investment activities, and capital structure to optimize returns and minimize costs. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including tax, legal, and corporate governance requirements. Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making as a key member of the executive team and the board of directors. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Knowledge, Skills, And Experience We Are Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred. Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA) is highly desirable. Above 18 years of experience in finance, with at least 8 years in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the construction or related industry. Previous experience serving as a board member or in a similar role. Deep knowledge of corporate finance, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to think long-term and contribute to strategic decisions. Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing finance team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels. Thorough understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and corporate governance standards in Saudi Arabia. Proficiency in financial software and systems, with the ability to leverage technology for financial management and reporting.
