Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy, aligned with the overall business objectives. Lead long-term financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
Financial Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports and analysis. Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team based on financial performance and market trends.
Risk Management: Identify, assess and manage financial risks. Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Operational Efficiency: Optimize financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow management.
Investment and Financing: Evaluate investment opportunities, manage capital structure and lead fundraising efforts. Oversee mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic initiatives.
Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor and develop the finance team. Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate and collaborate with the director. Build strong relationships to support the company’s strategic goals.

Key Job Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management position. Experience in the construction or contracting industry is highly preferred.
