Engineering Manager

As an Engineering Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the daily engineering operations to guarantee that the right team members are assigned to the appropriate tasks. This role involves maintaining inventory levels, ordering parts and supplies, and adhering to green initiatives to minimize waste.

To excel in this position, you should possess some college education or advanced vocational training along with at least four years of experience in general building maintenance or construction. Specialized expertise in plumbing, electrical work, mechanical systems, and carpentry is essential. Additionally, holding certifications such as Level 3 EPA Certification, HVAC and refrigeration certificates, as well as being a licensed plumber or having journeyman status for electrician and carpenter roles may be required. Prior experience working in a hotel setting would be advantageous.
