JOB PURPOSE:
To coordinate and arrange all sales activity including relevant procedures to ensure that sales force is focused to achieve their targets through campaigns, reporting and Global Distribution Community Systems and oversee/facilitate achievement of SV objectives.
Strategy
Assists in the development of the Sales strategy for the Passenger Sales function to ensure vertical and horizontal integration with other interfacing initiatives and departments across Saudi Airlines
Policies, Processes and Procedures
Assists in the development of division’s policies, processes and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled
Sales Monitoring
Plans and distributes revenues/channel mix in conjunction with Network Planning to deliver annual sales targets to all regions, channels and key account managers
Designs and coordinates central sales promotions and campaigns with Marketing to help drive up sales and achieve overall sales targets
Plans and monitors cost of sales (incl. channel, GDS, payment costs) on an ongoing basis to ensure that potential realised revenue is set higher that overhead costs and sales are profitable
Coordinates strategies/tactics and design of incentive schemes with Key Account travel agents
Sales Procedures
Develops sales policies, processes and procedures (reservations, ticketing, sales support and related) that form the cornerstone of the Content Management System to ensure that all sales activity is conducted within a specific and consistent framework
Develops a Passenger Handling Manual for sales teams within various regions and channels to ensure a high quality of sales service and understanding of passenger needs
Negotiates agreements with various payment providers and schemes to facilitate sales activity and ease ways in which passengers can settle payment
Manages requirements for the development of Sales tools that assist in analysing and drawing attention to sales success in specific channels/regions and build a database of sales strategies employed
Travel Agency Policy and Leisure Development
Develops guidelines and partnership agreements with travel agents and general sales agents to ensure they are incentivised to promote Saudi Airline routes and show trip options in the first page of most of their searches
Analyses data from the Amadeus Revenue Integrity system to ensure that sales/booking violations carried out by travel agents are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner
Develops leisure programs and other key packaged products (such as Saudi World Holidays) to assist travel agents locally and internationally and all sales channels promote Saudi Airlines as a one-stop shop for all their travelling needs
Global Distribution Systems
Directs the GDS strategy by contracting the most effective community system on the market to consolidate a picture of sales activity from various sales regions and channels and assist with the ongoing sales calibration process .
Monitors, analyse and report Sales activity online using Global Distribution Systems so that any deviations from sales targets are highlighted and dealt with in a timely manner .
Sales Projects
Manages all strategic sales projects including sales communications to ensure that specific initiatives are carried out in a consistent manner throughout all passenger sales departments
Validates all staff development schedules and training needs to assist in the process of allocation and develop strong sales capability within the local, international and direct sales forces
Budget
Prepares and recommends the development of Sales Strategy budget, and monitors financial performance versus the budget to ensure alignment
Reporting
Reviews all Unit’s reports for accuracy and in order to ensure that they conform with Company and division requirements, policies and standards
Leadership
Directs the process of effective department performance, overseeing performance management, recruitment, training and development of staff to ensure high level of engagement and a motivated work environment
Safety, Quality & Environment
Ensures compliance to all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental procedures across the department in order to promote a healthy and safe work environment

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Major Sales),
Marketing, Industrial Management (Major Marketing),
Industrial Engineering.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 12 years of experience in related field and 5 years in leading position .
