Job Purpose:
Execute the financial strategic plans of the business unit through managing the financial planning and providing guidance on financial processes such as; budgeting, variance analysis, and accounting to ensure that the Subsidiaries implement the required financial control as per the related standards and provide accurate and timely financial information to support the decision-making.
Key Accountabilities:
Develop and recommend the subsidiaries strategy and translating it into action plans to ensure maximum financial control of the subsidiaries.
Execute the consolidation of subsidiaries financial plan and cascade financial objectives to the business unit’s functions to ensure the overall adherence and compliance with Sunbulah’s financial strategies.
Lead the preparation and consolidation of subsidiaries budget, monitor the subsidiaries expenditures according to the allocated budget, and conduct variance analysis to assess the subsidiaries financial performance to ensure controlling the subsidiaries costs.
Manage the revenue forecasting for the subsidiaries from current and potential revenue channels to identify sustainable growth drivers and provide recommendations on the subsidiaries’ financial model.
Lead the preparation of financial statements and reports of the subsidiaries by ensuring the accurate recording of revenues, expenses, commissions, etc. to monitor the subsidiaries performance against financial goals including revenue, costs and cash flow and highlight alarming numbers.
Prepare critical financial reports and ad-hoc analysis for relevant stakeholders to ensure reporting accurate and timely information about the subsidiaries financial position and support the decision-making process.
Lead the coordination with external auditors, financial controllers, Zakat advisors, and external service providers to ensure outsourcing the needed services and protecting the Sunbulah’s best interest.
Support the Subsidiaries tax and Zakat calculations, documentations, and payments to ensure that they are carried out accurately and timely and mitigate financial risks that relate to tax and Zakat payments.
Ensure that all payroll, compensation, and dividend transactions are processed and issued accurately and efficiently
Support cash management operations, including monitoring and analyzing the subsidiaries cash position, cash forecasts, borrowing and investing activities, risk management, etc. to ensure proper funding management and meeting the subsidiaries liquidity demands.
