NEOM is seeking a Director - Strategic Investments to join their team in New York, United States. As a member of the NEOM USA senior leadership team, this individual will play a key role in attracting foreign direct investment, locating strategic partners, and sourcing equity investments for NEOM. The Director will work closely with the NEOM CEO and other senior leaders to develop and implement a strategy for supporting NEOM's parent company in Saudi Arabia while promoting a socially responsible brand for NEOM in the USA. Responsibilities include leading negotiations and due diligence processes for potential joint ventures, partnerships, and equity investments, engaging in discussions with internal stakeholders to explore industries and technologies, delivering proposals and presentations to potential partners, conducting financial analyses, managing transactions with external parties, recruiting top analyst talent, leveraging personal network to find partnership opportunities, and collaborating with various departments within NEOM. The ideal candidate should have exceptional management and technical skills with a proven track record of closing deals efficiently. They should also possess strong negotiation skills, leadership abilities, an entrepreneurial mindset, and at least 10 years of experience in investments through private equity or investment banking. An MBA or CFA qualification is preferred.
