Job Title
Accountant
Role Purpose
The accountant is responsible of Maintain up-to-date accounts for cash and cash equivalent, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory, prepayment, accruals, Related parties, and CT accounts according to the applicable SOPs.
Having robust internal control process and monthly balance reconciliation/ confirmation.
Participate on the monthly and yearly closing and reporting.
Key Accountabilities
Fixed Assets:
Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system.
Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary-level account in the general ledger.
Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets.
Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation.
Conduct periodic physical counts of fixed assets.
Conduct analysis related to fixed assets as requested by management.
Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets and assist the auditors in their inquiries.
Track company expenditures for fixed assets in comparison to the capital budget and management authorizations.
Responsible for accurate lease accounting.
Payroll:
Manage the payroll process, including processing payroll, verifying payroll data, and ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees.
Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data and maintain employee payroll records
Communicate with employees regarding payroll-related inquiries and issues.
Prepare audit schedules relating to payroll and assist the auditors in their inquiries.

Other:
Assist with other accounting and finance functions as needed.
Job Specifications
A minimum of (3-5) years’ experience in a relevant field
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
