As a Chef de partie at ACCOR, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of your section in the kitchen. In the absence of senior chefs, you will act as a Kitchen Leader, ensuring that food quality and consistency meet our highest standards. Your role will involve managing PAR levels to maintain sufficient food supplies, planning daily operations according to HACCP standards, and providing guidance to kitchen staff on following standard recipes and procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for controlling food costs, monitoring food quality, and maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
To excel in this role, you must possess a minimum Professional Certificate in a Culinary-related field along with at least 3 years of relevant experience in the Food & Beverage industry. A WSQ Food Safety certificate would be advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective communication with colleagues at all levels. You should be service-oriented with keen attention to detail, culturally aware to thrive in a diverse environment, and have good presentation skills. The ability to work independently with initiative in a dynamic setting is crucial for success.
