Job Description

Join us as the Director of Group Sales at Sofitel Riyadh, where you will spearhead our group sales strategy with a focus on key events to enhance occupancy rates and maximize average daily rates. Your main role will involve cultivating relationships with high-profile clients, delivering exceptional service, and positioning Sofitel Riyadh as the ultimate destination for luxury events, corporate meetings, and exclusive group stays. As a pivotal member of the pre-opening team, you will play a crucial role in establishing the hotel's presence in these sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and Execute Group Sales Strategy: Take charge of developing and implementing the group sales strategy across various sectors such as automotive, fashion, meeting brokers, and concierge services. Ensure alignment with overall business objectives and brand standards.
- Build Key Client Relationships: Identify, target, and nurture relationships with key clients in event management, automotive, fashion industries. Forge partnerships with prestigious organizations to secure group bookings and long-term business prospects.
- Event Management: Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to organize high-profile events like corporate meetings, product launches, fashion shows. Ensure meticulous attention to detail that meets Sofitel's luxury standards while exceeding client expectations.
- Pre-opening Responsibilities: Contribute significantly to pre-opening activities by establishing a robust group sales pipeline, creating client databases, and fostering relationships with industry partners. Assist in setting up operational processes for group sales functions.
